I am full time single dad with 3 boys reaching out across the Internet to try and find an investor for my small business. It is taking me a lot of courage to type this out, but I couldn’t think of a better way than to put it out there like this. That way, If you are interested I am only an email away from an introduction. If not, pass this on to someone that you think might be. Or worst case scenario you leave, uninterested. Everybody wins and I get a chance to tell my story and promote myself and my company to potential investors.

Throughout the history of the world people have done things out side the box to get themselves noticed and make their voice heard. “I mean isn’t that how the little guy gets discovered”? That is how talent is discovered no matter what the skill. Somebody sees someone or hears about someone and then they tell another until the right person hears it or sees it, then the rest is just details.

The main reason for taking control of my own destiny and just reaching out across the Internet looking for an investor is that I can hopefully generate more interest this way. All of the the Entrepreneur / Investor Networking Sites charge you $150.00-$500 per year just to respond by email to the investor inquiries about your business. I’m in no position financially to pay those high fees at all of those sites.

I have posted in all of these sites at the FREEBIE level of course because I am still bootstrapping it to survive until I find an investor. I have received no less than Eighty responses to my listings but still could not justify the cost and risk shaking the unstable foundation I have right now with no guarantee of an investor coming out of those responses. At least I know there is interest which left me feeling comfortable this way would be perfect for me.

I started my journey to build a successful business a little over 10 years ago when I purchased my first computer. That was the only reason for buying it. I have always had the passion from the time I was a young boy to build a successful business from the ground up. From the time I turned my first computer on until the present I have been researching and learning everything there is to know about e-commerce and Internet Marketing (IM). I have also seasoned my graphic design skills and web design skills to a professional level over that time.

Some people go to  night school to further their education to get ahead or get a better job. I have laid the foundation for my future through some successes and many many failures by sacrificing my personal life and a well paying job to focus on acquiring the knowledge and the skills to have what it takes to compete in the Online world of e-commerce and Online marketing. Along the way I have followed many of the Internet’s top entrepreneurs as well as learned about what made them successful. To this day I still pay attention to the experts and the fast changing world of the Internet and E-commerce. If you lose your focus on today’s Internet your competitors will pass you by.

I have built a small business out of my home and have grown it to the “time to move into an office/warehouse space of my own” stage. I am in position to grow at a fairly rapid pace over the next 18-24 months+  as I transition my online business into the Offline retail sector where I also have past selling experience and many relationships with store owners to corporate level buyers. I can be just as effective and fill the huge void in the offline marketplace for products like mine.  After funding I will be selling my products via Online E-Commerce , Direct Response TV commercials, Home Shopping Networks, Mail Order, Offline Retailers and Distributors.

In 2006, I saw the huge growth potential of the “Green, Eco-Friendly” Consumer Retail Industry and started to research the marketplace because I already had a product in mind. By the time I finally released my product line to the public via the Internet I ended up creating Four innovative, environmentally friendly cleaning formulas. My cleaning formulas solve the most common residential, commercial, and numerous vertical market problems.  And because my product line is consumable, the repeat business potential in incredible.

I have put years of valuable research and experience into building this business for success and I feel that once I have the attention of a potential investor and they take a look at my business plan they will see the same realistic potential that I envision.

Although I predicted success for myself much sooner, I have had many ups and downs and have had many failures that have set me back. I always tried to grow my business without the assistance of an investor and I can now see it won’t be possible without.  I have never given up even when things got dicey and family members told me to give it up and get a real job. I always told them that they just do not know what I am capable of and one day they will get to see the results of my perseverance. I have been waiting a long time for this period of my life to happen. I am a failure hardened single father that wants to provide a great life for my children, become a contributor in my local community, provide jobs for others, and prove that you can be successful by never giving up.

Some might criticize me for writing this article because it might be looked at as desperation? I will say this to those that do, have a little compassion for a father trying to do whatever it takes to give his children a brighter future. It is not easy to go to sleep every night knowing that you are just as close to being successful as you are to losing everything you have. I know there is an investor out there that will see the potential in me and my business.

I know the Internet very well and I know how to get my content in front of my intended audience. Since I can’t afford to spend all of my income on Investor/Angel database searches, I have turned to what I know. I hope my content finds its way to the investor that will give my my company the boost it needs to become a success.

You have to pull out all the stops and get creative sometimes. This is my way! It might not be very conventional but it gives me a voice. So, if you have read this far I must say “Thank You”!
